This inviting living room belongs to a couple of nature and horse lovers. The builder-white walls did nothing to draw family and friends around the fire and did not reflect my client's personalities. When it became necessary to repair the wall due to a minor water problem, the decision was made to add color at last! I chose this beautiful brick red done in a rag finish to draw attention to the fireplace wall and bring warmth to the space. The remaing walls were painted a soft camel color to keep from closing in the room and maintain flow in the open floor plan. The result is an inviting warm space that can be enjoyed by all who enter. |
